Tatler Singapore

Legendary Time

What makes a legend most? This was the question we asked ourselves when we staked a claim on the word “legendary” as the theme of the Tatler Ball this year, in celebration of the ruby anniversary of Tatler Singapore.

One only has to look to the woman on the cover of our 40th anniversary issue in October to understand the full weight of the word. At 96, Betty Chen has devoted a lifetime of service to the community. As did many of our guests at the ball, from business titans and thought leaders, to power couples and society swans—each one a legend in their own right, making a meaningful impact in their respective fields and in their own legendary ways.

The National Gallery Singapore, encompassing community got dressed to the nines and came together to celebrate each other after a long two-year hiatus.
