A question of minimums

ED Michael Stevenson (Nov 2022, p15) asked if minimum stays could be an option for some sites, referring to the popularity of Tewkesbury Club site as an en route stopover. Here are some readers’ responses…

I’ve stayed twice at Tewkesbury campsite for the very reason that Michael says. I’ve contributed to the town’s economy. I see no benefit on imposing a three-day stay; plus, why should anybody tell me how long I should stay? Surely a motorhome is for touring, not sat around for three days because the members don’t book early enough.
