I retired in 2019 from professional rallying after trying to get to the top. How old was I back then? I was around 28 I guess. I didn’t have the motivation to find the teams, the money, the sponsorship and so on but I got this call from Mattias Bengtsson who is the team owner of Team Nybe. I must say I was as surprised as you were that someone still had me on their radar.
From the beginning a big team, they have the facilities – you’ve maybe seen them on Facebook – and they have the people. But they don’t have the experience so to speak from running a top professional team.
