Longtermers

As someone once said, never work with children or animals – or soldering irons. Okay, they didn’t say that last bit, but they probably should have. As regular readers will know, I recently took on the project of building a Klon-based overdrive kit made by US lutherie parts supplier StewMac. Unlike my first DIY foray into pedal-building years ago, the kit was supplied with a comprehensive manual and video lessons on the StewMac YouTube channel. So the process should be relatively foolproof. But as we like to test things thoroughly here at , it’s only appropriate that I should start the build by doing something foolish.
