Kia ora!

still remember falling in love with gorgeous young Megan Cassie (as she was known then) on the ground-breaking local reality, which put together Kiwi girl group TrueBliss in 1999, before going on to become a global TV phenomenon. Since then, I’ve been lucky enough to interview her on several occasions – and each time, she’s only got more lovely. I now count Megan as a dear friend and, to be honest, I’ll find any excuse to get her beautiful face in. But this week’s story packs a real emotional punch, with the singer and her former All Black hubby Pita Alatini revealing how they managed to rescue their marriage after taking a two-year break. There’s a lot of healing still to be done, but it’s a real message of hope to anyone who may be struggling in their relationship, especially after a tumultuous few years that have brought so much unexpected change. Thank you so much to Megan and Pita for trusting us with such a sensitive story, and to the whole genetically blessed wha- nau for posing for our fabulous family portraits. Enjoy the mag and have a great week.
