CHICAGO — Perhaps it would be in the Green Bay Packers’ best interest to put their four-time MVP quarterback on the shelf for the rest of 2022, to let Aaron Rodgers rest his battered ribs and take care of his broken right thumb. The Packers then could take a longer look at young Jordan Love and begin to make a more informed evaluation of their possible quarterback succession plan.
