The Cat Empire

omewhere in the heart of Melbourne’s Brunswick, in an old community hall that doubles as a rehearsal venue, a music library, a performance space, and a recording studio, history is being created. In the Moreland City Band Room, surrounded by instruments and the spirit of hundreds of musicians before them, Felix Reibl and Ollie McGill from the legendary band The Cat Empire (along with dozens of their music-living-and-breathing friends) are laying down the first chapter of the band’s new life.
