ome months ago a friend’s Polish wife hosted a young family who had fled from Ukraine That became a friendship – and they’re now setting up a small food business together in Częstochowa, outside Warsaw. Pierogi will be the star product and I’ve been lucky enough to try their squidgy, chewy dumplings packed with meat and veg.
