Pop-up garden tidy bags

BUYING a pop-up garden tidy bag (also referred to as a garden waste bag) is usually an impulse purchase made either in spring, when regular lawn mowing starts, or in autumn, when there are large quantities of leaves to collect.

Most bags tend to be made from some form of polypropylene fabric, because it has the desired qualities of being cheap, durable and lightweight. A few are made from waterproofed canvas or are lined with plastic. Most have a coil of sturdy wire stitched onto the outside to hold them open when in use, which is why they are often referred to as ‘popup’ bags. The wire insert makes it easy to collapse and store these bags when they are not in use, which is particularly handy when space is limited.
