Chocolate penguin bites

hese friendly penguins from Eloise Head’s new book (£20, Ebury Press) are super-simple and fun to make with the kids… Prep a cooling rack over a sheet of baking paper or Using 2 forks, coat 10 Oreo biscuits in the melted chocolate, letting any excess drip off, then transfer to the prepared rack or tray. While the chocolate on the biscuits is still warm, gently place a white chocolate button on the centre bottom of each biscuit (for the penguin’s belly). Place 2 edible eye cake decorations above the button on each penguin, then an orange smartie sideways in between for the beak. If the decorations move around on the coating too much, pop the biscuits in the fridge for 1–2 mins to slightly set them. Chill for an hour or leave to set at room temp before serving, and store in an airtight container.
