ALCHEMISTS OF AGGRESSION

ontinuing to carve out a strong global following from their soulful heaviness and quirky, esoteric lyricism, Maryland hard rock quartet Clutch recently released their thirteenth studio album, Now in their third decade as a band, Clutch still deliver refreshingly diverse sonic journeys built from raw guitar tones, deep grooves and gruff-yet-soaring vocals. As a result of their creative efforts, Clutch have toured the world on the backs of their popular hard rock albums, while sharing stages with the likes of Mastodon, Primus and Corrosion Of Conformity. Self-described as an ‘efficient’ album, clocking in at just over 30 was spearheaded by its three singles, ‘Red Alert (Boss Metal Zone)’, honouring one of the world’s most popular guitar pedals in its title, which was followed by ‘We Strive For Excellence’ and ‘Slaughter Beach’.
