GETTING INTO LONG-DISTANCE HIKES with Jacinta Pink

Some of the most beautiful places I’ve visited on Earth required many days of hiking to uncover, places so epic and remote I wish everyone could experience them. In the past four months, I’ve walked both the Larapinta Trail (223km over 12 days) and the Great Ocean Walk (110km over 6 days). These long-distance hikes required loads of training and planning, and along the way I had my share of challenges. Here are some of the elements that helped me prepare for my hikes.
