Y idea of a perfect day's We start with the Exmoor meeting at Blue Gate, watching the master with his whippers-in crossing Cornham Ford as they ride to the meet. There are rather a lot of hounds and Bill Lock, Tony Wright and Anthony Adams are assisting. It is a clear morning and the beauty of this bit of Exmoor is stunning. Diary records, “useful morning”.
