SEEING DOUBLE

When the owners of a semi-detached home in inner Sydney began to outgrow their abode, the solution was surprisingly simple. They acquired the adjoining property and voilà – double the space! Architects Welsh + Major designed the second semi to almost mirror the first, a genius exercise in repeated forms and scale, with scope to divide the dwelling down the track if the family decide to downsize.
