An exciting assignment came my way for Dungeons & Dragons a few months ago. I was asked to create a threefold interior artwork for Spelljams, the vinyl soundtrack album to accompany the game’s Spelljammer: Adventures in Space campaign. I was tasked with designing a panoramic scene from the interior view of the spaceship that appears on the album’s cover. I needed to paint the bridge interior to feel like you were viewing the scene on the cover from a different vantage point.
