WHEN PLANNING THEIR NEW HOME in Landenberg, Pennsylvania, near the Delaware and Maryland borders, a family of five wanted it to encourage togetherness and emphasize entertainment and indoor–outdoor living. For its aesthetic, they desired an old Pennsylvania farmhouse exterior with a French country interior.
