Nothing lasts forever. Dried flowers, grasses, seedheads and foliage all look beautiful in their raw organic state, but there comes a point in their life-cycle when a display no longer catches the eye. Naturally preserved plants will eventually fade, losing their original colouring and lustre. It doesn’t have to be the end, however. This is the moment for a little decorative TLC – like adding a swipe of lipstick to a jaded complexion, you can give dried plants a new lease of life with some homemade colourants.
