Final flag for 2022

Lydden Hill is the season finale to the BSSO British Scooter Championship, and what a finale, with some cracking racing as various class and overall championships were decided.

Monsoon-like rain threw a spanner in Sunday’s proceedings, stopping all racing for over an hour and several riders threw themselves down the track across the weekend. Despite this the season ended in the sunshine with lots of smiley faces, some riders hobbling around and some less than premium champagne being sprayed.

Even at this late stage of the season it was great to see newcomers out for the first time, Ben Darling and Sean Collison on Wilkinson Racing and JB Tuning bikes respectively, while Glenn Swallow
