Travel back with me to the days of the early 1980s fur market. You could sell anything that had fur on it. Foxes were the prize back then. And many big-time fox trappers were plagued with 'possums. They sent them to waste.

My skimpy little kingdom required that I utilize all of the furbearers at my disposal. 'Possums were the bottom rung of the ladder, but I was never ashamed to put them up — or so foolish not to.
