MAKE-UP TRICKS TO LOOK YEARS YOUNGER

When it comes to make-up, it’s easy to fall back on our tried and true products and techniques, but we could be missing a trick and in fact be ageing our looks. Here are our expert tips to bring that youthful glow.

The base

1 Applying make-up to dry, dehydrated skin is the quickest way to accentuate creases and lines you might prefer not to highlight. Apply a light moisturiser a few minutes before you start your routine to ensure it’s well absorbed.

2 Far from being another unnecessary step, a good primer can smooth and brighten the surface of the skin, creating an even canvas whether you apply make-up on top or not. The options are varied, but look for one that says “blurring”,
