Raising her three children on a remote South Australian farm 50 kilometres from the nearest town, Anna Nunn knows exactly how tough it can be to find what you need, when you need it.

In 2018, the mum and small business owner was fresh out of ideas for her son Roy’s 2nd birthday present.

So, all while battling an ongoing drought on the farm at Wooltana Station, Anna decided to put pen to paper. Soon after Cowboy Roy Adventures was born, Anna’s beloved children’s book series.

“We went from being flat out, having staff and managing this farm, and all of a sudden there was not a lot for us to do,” Anna tells
