f you have ever been inspired to paint the landscape, as so many of us have, it is likely that you will have painted a fair number of trees. As a key feature in the landscape, trees are often one of the first things we learn to paint, alongside sky and water. From the first pale blossoms of spring to the spectacular array of warm autumn colours and the multitude of summer greens in between, it is no wonder many of us are inspired to try to capture their beauty on canvas. With the changing foliage, familiar views are transformed with each season, providing artists with renewed inspiration throughout the year.
