Enigmatic London-based producer J-Shadow’s music is at once cerebral, spaced out, instinctive and energised. Rooted in the traditions of UK bass music, but constantly breaking its confines to approach it from an other-worldly trajectory, J-Shadow’s productions tread that line between heady, 4am home listening and charged, club-focused cuts with aplomb.
