Like just about everyone in Australia, I’m looking forward to the return of our national Open.

It’s been too long … three long years since we last got together to compete for the Stonehaven Cup atThe Australian in Sydney. Of course, the same can almost be said for the Women’s Australian Open. More than two-and-a-half years have passed since Inbee Park claimed the title at Royal Adelaide in February 2020. So, it will be more than good to see both back on the schedule, this time together at Kingston Heath and Victoria Golf Clubs in Melbourne.

At least, for me, that last fact is a cause for celebration. Amazingly,
