“I WANT TO BE THE PERSON THAT PEOPLE WANT TO BEAT”

WorldSSP racing went through a massive upheaval in 2022, with new engine capacities allowed to compete against each other. Those changes have created a lot of conversations, but in the rider market there’s also been a lot to focus on – including the debut season of Australian Oli Bayliss.

Riding for the Barni Spark Racing Team on a slightly neutered 955cc Ducati Panigale V2, Oli has had his ups and downs, including in the most recent round in Argentina.

The biggest thing that has caught his breath in his rookie year isn’t anything about himself, but the calibre of the competition. They are bloody quick!
