Coping with TEETH GRINDING

Teeth grinding and jaw clenching, known as bruxism, may often be related to anxiety, stress or sleep problems. It may not always cause symptoms, but can lead to facial pain and headaches, and will eventually wear down teeth surfaces over time, leading to dental problems.

Almost always, people who grind their teeth and clench their jaw aren’t aware that they’re doing it until they get symptoms, or others notice. It often happens during sleep, or while concentrating or under stress.
