Summer’s last hoorah

The 12-M beat the 15-M in the Club 55 challenge Cup. The Grand Tradition class was won by the great ketch and the two gaff classes were won by the 1903 Herreshoff Bar Harbor 31 and the 1897 yacht . The two vintage bermudan classes were won by the S&S-designed and the 1934 8-M . There were also two classes for more modern bermudan classics – typically from the 1960s and 70s – and an miscellaneous class for everything else, which was won by the 1897 Fife yacht , with the smallest competing boat, the Sunbeam , in hot pursuit.
