A river can make a very attractive focal point on a layout, although even the most experienced modeller can be put off trying to recreate one because they can be quite hard to model. There is some truth to that, but with forward planning, it’s not as difficult as it looks - you just need to research product compatibility, and take it slowly. When you’ve done it once, you’ll want to model a water feature on every layout! Using resins is nerve-racking, but the pay-off is a superb scene, which will likely be the main talking point of your layout.
