UNDERSTANDING AND UTILISING COLOR THEORY

Color theory is a subject that any art student will have come across, but it’s often overlooked when it comes to photography. Understanding and utilising color theory revolves around using and understanding the color wheel (invented in 1666 by Sir Isaac Newton, no less!). Color evokes emotions in images, so using the right colors can make a huge difference to your work. And understanding how colors interact with each other makes this far easier.

THE COLOR WHEEL
