My Reaction:
hen I first heard this poem, I was casually scrolling on TikTok and saw a girl reciting it. My initial reaction was just, “wow.” I was simply in awe of the depth of the poem, and thought it was such a powerful way to talk about the theme of interpersonal sexism, patriarchy, toxic femininity, and so much more. In case you don’t catch on, it is one big metaphor.
