Though his school was religious in nature, he and his students formulated statements that influenced great people such as Plato and Aristotle and contributed to developments in maths and Western rational philosophy. HIS LIFE
Pythagoras was born around 570BC on the Greek island of Samos. His early life is clouded in legend, but he’s said to have been the son of called Mnesarchus and his wife, Pythias.
