Take the coast road between Cadiz and Algeciras, wind inland for a few kilometres and, perched on a hill, you’ll discover enchanting Vejer, with its cobbled streets, whitewashed houses and flower-filled patios. This classic ‘white cube’ town overlooks Andalucia’s Costa de la Luz and the Straits of Gibraltar, and it makes a great base for exploring the region’s pine-forested countryside and sparkling coastline.
