Get schools playing touch

My 13-year-old daughter, Phoebe, started rugby when she played touch at a social that I organised for my son and his mates. She fell in love with the sport and has never looked back.

She played for a season in a mixed team (20 lads, two girls) and both her and the other girl battled for respect from the male players through practice and determination. At U12 she had to move to an ‘all-female’ side and after finding a lack of them, we eventually came across Mansfield RUFC.
