THE MUMMY'S HAND 1940

niversal's first sequel to their 1932 classic enters pure B-movie territory and solidified the notion of the mummy as a bandaged marauding murderer. Despite its low budget the production nonetheless managed to look better than its three sequels due to its reuse of sets from James. With more of a focus on adventure and comedy than horror, it's a fairly standard affair, which pales in comparison to its more lavish predecessor.
