Blue Skies and Ochre Earth

My family immigrated from England to ‘the lucky country’ in 1970 as ten pound Poms, and settled in Adelaide, South Australia. I was born in Walsall in 1963. I now reside in Forestville on Adelaide’s fringe, where I have set up my studio.

As far back as I can remember, I had a passion for drawing – but I never really thought about painting until I was diagnosed with depression in 2004. It prompted me to stand back and re-evaluate my lifestyle. Part of this ‘taking stock’ was a clean up … and I found a print by Pro Hart
