BUGATTI TYPE 13 SLOT CAR BY VELASOR

At the 1920 Coupe des Voiturettes at Le Mans, an overexcited Ettore Bugatti unwittingly sabotaged a 1-2 finish for his cars when he provided illegal assistance to the Type 13 of Pierre de Vizcaya by checking the water level. He didn’t have to wait too much longer, though, for a result that properly reflected the superiority of the Type 13: at the 1921 Gran Premio delle Vetturette in Brescia, Bugattis took the first four places, and those four famous Type 13s have now been painstakingly recreated in 1:32-scale slot-car form by the brilliant modelmakers at Velasor.
