Just like to say thank you from Griffin fans everywhere for the extensive and well-balanced articles during 2021 recognising Bedford’s 90th anniversary, particularly on the TL.

A funny story to show how things get set in your mind for the most bizarre reasons. Growing up as a child I was given a Matchbox toy of a BP petrol tanker based on a Bedford TK in green and white and despite it being standard Matchbox size the whole cab hinged around the front bumper to reveal a detailed cab and engine and for many many years I was convinced that TKs had a cab that would swing up like some other lorries about at the time and of course TK meant Tip Kab!!
