We’re very proud of our free software resource, CM Suite, but it’s fair to say that over time some of the older plugins stopped working, and this is particularly true for Mac users. We’ve been working hard with the original developers to get as many of these classic tools updated and back up and running. This month we’re happy to report that one such example, Cream CM from developer Kirnu, is now fully refreshed and specifically for OS X users now supports Apple Silicon.

Cream CM is a slimmed down version of Kirnu’s MIDI performance and sequencing plugin, and is ideal for creating arpeggios, lead riffs, melodies and basslines. Much like the full version, Cream CM works as a VST and AU plugin for Windows and OS X. Significantly it also works as a MIDI FX plugin in OS X, so Logic Pro users can insert it as a MIDI effect on an instrument track.
