Memories of a West Country signalman

On p655 of the December issue there is a picture of a GWR ‘45XX’ at Tavistock. Interestingly, the ex-LMS brake coach behind the engine has a Scottish (SC) number prefix. How such a coach got to the Tavistock branch could be a story in itself.
