Over the next couple of months, I will be introducing the techniques I use to paint flowers, both en plein air and when I’m back home in the studio. I will be working with heavy-body acrylic paints, using the same simple tools and colours for both settings:

• A stay-wet palette

• Long-handled filberts, flats and Round nylon
