FORD ESCORT DYNAMO CHANGE

QI have to date been reluctant to replace the original dynamo on my 1973 Ford Escort with an alternator, feeling that it should be kept original. However, I now see so many advantages to the replacement that I have changed my mind and would like to carry out the conversion.
