Well, I put the GSX-S1000 GT through its final test, and it came out with flying colours.
I had ridden it on all sorts of roads, from quiet country twisties, through towns, and on motorways and dual carriageways – I even stripped the luggage off and took it on a track day at Cadwell Park. It was equally competent everywhere. But I had not taken it on the kind of long trip it was built for, so a jaunt back home to Scotland seemed to be in order.
