A lengthy, adjustable rope. If it’s too long, it can be adjusted. If it’s too short, however, skipping becomes near impossible and very uncomfortable.
The thickness to suit you. Are you wanting to double-under the day away? Then opt for skinny speed ropes. If it’s toning up and muscular endurance you’re after, thicker, weighted ropes are best.
