Tyres are the most important aspect of your motorcycle. I can't underline how important it is to have the correct tyres at the correct pressures for the correct motorcycle. It is a difficult decision for manufacturers. They must choose a tyre that matches the motorcycle, and the potential customer, plus taking cost into account.
Sportsbikes are relatively easy; you simply choose sporty rubber, which works both on the road and track. On a touring motorcycle again, the choice is relatively simple; a tyre that works in all conditions, and gives plenty of mileage.
