Gold Star prices and BSA distributor is announced

After months of waiting, things seem to be moving for BSA and its new Gold Star 650. As Classic Bike Guide went to press, the prices for the new Gold Star were released. Depending on colour, they are: £6500 + OTR Highland Green; £6800 + OTR Insignia Red, Midnight Black and Dawn Silver; £7000 + OTR Silver Sheen Legacy Edition.

Details have not been given of how much the somewhat old fashioned ‘On The Road’ price will be.

Also, BSA Company Ltd has appointed Lukas Distribution as its distribution partner for the UK and Ireland.

The Gold Star is the brand’s first new model following its acquisition by Classic Legends, a subsidiary of the huge Mahindra Group.

Lukas Distribution is based in a brand-new 100,000 sq ft facility on the Stonebridge Trading Estate in Coventry. Just 18 miles from the original BSA factory on Armoury Road and next door to Coventry airport, the site is set to become the UK’s largest dedicated motorcycle destination and the ultimate meeting place for bikers with a museum and onsite café for visitors.
