Fortunately, the weather was once again kind, and the Stoke Row Steam & Vintage Club staged another huge show with over 650 exhibits in attendance. As in previous years the event took place on a large site at Whitchurch Hill near Reading.
In addition to a splendid selection of steam exhibits the show has quite rightly built a reputation for gathering all manner of specialist vehicles associated with the timber industry, something which was such a huge part of the furniture industry in the nearby Chilterns.
