RUNNING THE LINE (and working, too)

I’ve always longed for the past. Unexplored land, vast wilderness and the freedom to rove, trap and hunt. Alas, I was born in the 1980s and the modern world. Even though I work a full-time job and have a family, I still get to feel the freedom of the trapline each year. I scout early in the season, utilize days off and weekends, and run the line in the dark of the morning.

PRESEASON SCOUTING

We are fortunate to live less than 100 feet from the banks of a prairie river in North Dakota. I take full advantage of the location by fishing, hunting, trapping and exploring the river all year.
