RUST SETTLEMENT REACHED

In a case that shook Hollywood, actor Alec Baldwin has reached a settlement with the. Cinematographer Halyna Hutchins was shot dead on the set of the film last year and a wrongful death lawsuit was brought to Baldwin, as he was the one who pulled the trigger on the revolver during a rehearsal. The lawsuit will be dismissed and under the deal, Matthew Hutchins, the late creative’s husband, will serve as executive producer on the movie when filming resumes in January. Baldwin’s lawyer Luke Nikas praised the conduct of everyone involved as they tried to uphold “the specific desire to do what is best for Halyna’s son”.
