In his high-kicking heyday, martial arts guy Jackie Chan offered his own special effects but in this spy parody he’s weighed down by them, playing an ordinary cabbie who gets a high-tech tuxedo which gives its wearer special, 007-like abilities. His other ropey Hollywood films at least had him with funny offsiders; here that job was given to hot-at-the-time Jennifer Love-Hewitt. (2002)
