HERE’S A BEFORE-AND-AFTER in Josie Clarke’s childhood. The ‘before’ was the agronomist’s first five years of life – up to the moment her father, Glen, had a truck accident that left him a paraplegic. The ‘after’ is every moment since. “Our lives changed significantly. My brothers, sister and I grew up with a lot more responsibility and maturity, taking on extra jobs and working on the farm,” Josie, 25, says.
